Ouroboros (Q00)

Spec-first layer that wraps an existing coding agent (Claude Code, Codex CLI, OpenCode, and ten more runtime families) instead of replacing it. The **harness** pins an acceptance spec before the run and checks it afterwards itself, keeps verify commands and expected outputs out of the worker's contract so the agent is asked for the outcome rather than handed the test, and runs its evolution loop unattended, with lineage kept in an event store that survives restarts.
